Frequently asked questions about Dog Boarding
Do I need a reservation for boarding?
Yes. Boarding reservations must be made at least 48 hours in advance of the first day to be boarded. During specific times of the year, such as holidays, school breaks and summer vacation, boarding spaces fill quickly.
We recommend making your boarding reservation as early as possible to ensure space for your dog and so we may schedule our staff appropriately.
What should I bring when boarding my dog?
We recommend bringing the following:
• Collar & Leash
• Food (portioned or not)
• Medications (if any)
We request that you do not bring any toys or valuable possessions on your dog's visit, as these items may be misplaced or lost. However, we allow treats, bedding, and any additional items necessary for your dog's comfort during their stay. Please mark all items you bring.
How often is my dog fed?
Your dog will be fed on the schedule indicated by you on your dog's enrollment form. We will confirm the schedule with you at check-in to note any changes that may have been made since your dog's last visit. We can accommodate dry, wet, refrigerated and frozen dog food.
We will offer your dog food up to three times daily, if requested, and will keep a record of the portion eaten at each meal on your dog's boarding "score card." You may request a copy of the card during check-out.
Do you administer medications?
Yes. Staff members are trained to administer oral and topical medications as a part of our introductory training program. Injections, such as insulin for diabetic dogs, will be administered only by those staff who have prior veterinary experience.
Will I incur a fee if I cancel my reservation?
We reserve the right to charge a $10 cancellation fee per dog to be boarded if notified less than 48 hours prior to the reservation, or if you fail to show on the scheduled day and time of your appointment. On holiday weekends we require 72 hours notice of cancellation.
Love this place!!! I have a chocolate lab puppy and she loves going here to play. The environment is clean, air conditioned and friendly. No cages, so the dogs feel like they are at home and best of all the dogs aren't barking all day. I've gone to other places and my dog leaves all freaked out from the noise. I recommend this place to anybody who wants a safe place for their furry friend. - Denise O.
Great place for dogs! I recommend it to anyone with a dog. Excellent and friendly staff who take great care of our Lewis.

We love this center. Our dog looks forward to coming on Tuesday and Thursday. She knows it's her day to go and dances by the door until we take her. Once home from the center she passes out, signaling she didn't just sit around all day but played until she was exhausted!

Karen has helped with pulling while on her leash, and our dog has improved in many areas we were stuck with. She is extremely well-behaved now and is just a better pet. We will continue to use this center for all of our grooming, training, and boarding needs!

We use and recommend East Bay Animal Hospital.
